Truck & Trailer Repair near Acheson

Truck and trailer repair for fleets and owner-operators in the Acheson Industrial Area, just west of Edmonton in Parkland County.

The Acheson Industrial Area is in Parkland County on Edmonton's western edge. Highway 16 (the Yellowhead) runs along its north side, Highway 60 runs through it between Highway 16 and Highway 16A, and Anthony Henday Drive is close by to the east. It covers about 4,000 hectares and has more than 200 businesses.

Parkland County describes Acheson as a hub for manufacturing, value-added agriculture and energy services, next to the CANAMEX trade corridor. Highway 16 is also the Yellowhead route west to Jasper and east through Edmonton to Lloydminster, so units come through on long runs as well as local work.

On 29 October 2026, Alberta's Vehicle Inspection Facility Search listed 37 licensed commercial vehicle inspection facilities with an Acheson address, so a CVIP inspection doesn't have to mean a trip into the city. Ask the shop to confirm it's licensed for your type of unit.

Running trailers in and out of Acheson? Say what kind of trailer it is when you call; semi trailer repair lists what to have ready. For a truck that's lost power, see DPF cleaning and emissions repair.

Getting there

Ask for the shop's address when you call. For reference, Acheson is about 15 minutes (15 km) from the Yellowhead Trail at 156 Street, and about 30 minutes (roughly 20 to 25 km, depending on where in Acheson) from downtown Edmonton, outside rush hour. A loaded truck will take longer.
